Vinyl Wrapping.

Change the colour of your car without the expense of a respray!

What is Vinyl Wrapping?

Vinyl wrapping is a way of transforming the looks of your vehicle for a fraction of the cost of a respray. Whether that’s a full colour change or simply some accent pieces such as a roof wrap or mirror covers, wrapping is the way to go! What’s more, unlike paint, a wrap is completely reversible – as long as the panel is in good condition to start with, it won’t damage your paint when being removed.

Not only does a wrap change the look of your car, it will also protect your vehicles paint against outside elements such stone chips and UV discolouration.

There are many different colours and finishes available from the vinyl manufacturers 3M and Avery Dennison to cater for your needs. Pop down to the shop any time to have a look at the swatches and have a chat.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Will a vehicle wrap damage my paint?

The vinyls we use from 3M and Avery Dennison are designed to be removable. If your vehicle has original factory paint, installing and removing the wrap should not damage your paintwork.

Problems can arise if your vehicle has had aftermarket paint or repairs due to a number of factors, for example the paint may not be sufficiently bonded to the bodywork. This should be taken in to consideration if you know your vehicle has had any paintwork in its life, we cannot offer any warranty on any panel that is not factory OEM paint.

Do I have to tell my insurance?

Yes. Any modifications made to your vehicle that haven’t come from the factory should be declared to your insurance provider. Not only full colour changes, partial wraps such as a roof wrap should also be declared.

Do I need to tell the DVLA?

Yes, you should notify the DVLA if you vehicle has had a full colour change. this can be achieved by filling out the ‘Change my vehicle details‘ section of your V5C and sending it off to the DVLA. You will receive a new V5C with the updated colour through the post. This process usually takes around 2 weeks.

How much does wrapping cost?

The cost of a wrap will vary depending on a few factors such as the vehicle, coverage – full or partial wrap, colour, finish and brand of vinyl. For a quote please fill out the Quote Request form below with as much information as possible.
